I’m a bit late posting this but I’ll blame my yesterday cataract surgery and Taurus, which can be a bit slow on the move. Taurus=fixed Earth, stability, caution, stubbornness, and is not fond of change. Taurus likes comfort but this New Moon may not be all that comfortable as Uranus, the planet of big change, upheaval, the unexpected, surprise, and possible chaos also moved into Taurus this morning. Uranus was last in Taurus in the 1940′s when even I was too young to notice much. Last month’s Aries New Moon sitting on top of Uranus in Aries sent a lot of us into a frenetic tail spin. Taurus will usually slow down the pace and give us a chance to breathe. Uranus may say no go and stomp on your just planted tomatoes. But the other side of Uranus in Taurus is a hopeful return to true recognition of the Earth, of home, of the simple important basics. The environment can become more of a true focus and despite a concentrated effort of destroying the EPA and us along with it we can prevail. Taurus will dig in and bull forward. Let’s all give it our blessings. There’s a reason Mother’s Day happens during Taurus (even though conceived by Hallmark). Taurus does not give up. Neither should we.

Simone Butler at mooncircles.com is an interesting read.
